| | So for those of you who don't know, Rachel wrote a fantasy trilogy entitled "Worlds Unseen." She's been wanting a cover for it for a while now, and I told her I'd have one for her by the end of the month... LAST month.  Well, here's my excuse for not having had one done on time! All of my painting supplies were in the attic and I could NOT--for the LIFE of me--get the attic door open. 
Anyhow, Jimmy somehow managed to get it open, so I had no excuse. I had started working on a cover in Photoshop (which was going VERY badly, btw... I'll see if I can dig it up to show you just HOW bad...), but I had wanted to do it in acrylics on canvas.

Ah, here we are... please resist the urge to gag. I know it's hard, but I'm confident that you can muster the self-control.
So now that THAT'S over with, here's the newer version...

It's still not done yet. I have to add some people riding some huge birds over the mountains, and then I have to add the clouds and stars to the sky. But we're close.  |
